MCD Casanova has made his mark on the breed in both the show arena and the breeding barn.

MCD Casanova is a consistent producer of strong, well-gaited foals, with gentle dispositions. In 2005, Casanova’s offspring swept the Futurity, winning all breeding division categories: Stallion (MCD Orion), Mare (MCD Sabrosura), Luxury Gelding (MCD Centurion), and Best Gaited Horse (MCD Sabrosura). In 2006, his daughter, RDS Luna Nova (owned by Hacienda del Noroeste), became the most recent U.S. National Laureado Breeding Mare.  In 2007, his son, MCD Coronado won the honor of U.S. National Laureado Open Performance Stallion ridden by owner, Kelly Powers.
